Zahra Ali is Associate Professor of Sociology at Rutgers University and the founder of Critical Studies of Iraq. She is the author of Women and Gender in Iraq (Cambridge University Press), and co-editor of Decolonial Pluriversalism (Rowman & Littlefield).
